Flare was a case of love born from care. As an Eevee, Flare was always weak, growing sick very easily. As a result, Vee wasn't able to give him to a trainer like her many other Eevee. She and Coco took care of him, resulting in them both falling in love with the little dear, and leaving Flare with a crush on the Espeon. He evolved into one of the strongest Pokemon Vee had ever seen as a result. He's still very quiet, but he'll protect anyone, particularly Coco.
